The Trail Blazers are a Premiere Plus Camaro Unit mentored and coached by Independent Mary Kay Sales Director, Teri Walter. The unit is comprised of a diverse group of positive women who passionately carry on the mission of Mary Kay Ash, “to enrich women’s lives.” The Trail Blazers’ unit mission is to help women build confidence, relationships, get connected, and have an even more positive, peace-filled home for themselves and their families. Teri led her unit to the $400,000 circle of achievement.
Teri Walter began her business in July 2010, when she was 42 years old. She debuted as a sales director in May 2011 and earned her first car two months later – less than one year after joining the company. She is married to Mike, and together they have two children: Bradley and Heather (both in their 20s). Brad is a civil engineer, and Heather is studying marketing at Regent University.

Teri has earned the use of 7 Mary Kay career cars, 3 of which are the iconic Pink Cadillac and her current car is a Chevy Camaro! Thanks to Mary Kay, Teri left her teaching job in 2015. When asked, she said it was because Mary Kay is a company that believes in putting God first, family second, and career third. This taught her how to prioritize her life which created a peace that transcends all understanding.

Teri is a three-time double star achiever, completing the national court of sales six times, and the national court of recruiting twice. She and her unit rank in the top units in the McClure National Area.

Teri is most thankful for the Mary Kay opportunity; that God put it into her life when she needed “just some extra money, a place to run, and accomplish goals.” Little did she know, one day Mary Kay would replace her six-figure teaching income and offer her the opportunity to be a work-from-home mom when she chose to leave teaching.
Teri’s personal mission is to help women build confidence, relationships, get connected, and have a more positive, peace-filled home for themselves and their families.

Our Unit vision is to empower women while prioritizing God and family ahead of their successful Mary Kay businesses.
